Central Christian Youth

The Youth Program at Central Christian Church has started small but is continually growing. We strive to have fun in everything we do. From eating meals together to traveling distances for mission trips, we always keep a strong bond with each other and with God. There are many opportunities to meet new friends, learn more about the Bible, and to build a stronger relationship with God.

Sunday School

Bible study
After Worship, every Sunday, the Youth get together to discuss issues from their lives and from the Bible.  It is a way to undetsand Biblical stories, the life of Christ and what it means to be a child of God in thier lives and their world.

Worship

The Youth have participated in every aspect of our worship service.  From running the sound system and the computer during worship, to being Junior Deacons at the Communion Table, to praying, our worship service is greatly benefited by the willingness of our Youth to be a part of the service.

Mission Trips

Central Christian Youth travel around the United States to help those who are in need.  Almost every summer the Youth Group goes on a Mission Trip to show all people the love of God through Jesus Christ, and the love we have for all of God's creation.  The group has traveled to Indianapolis, IN; Midland, TX; Oklahoma City, OK; Nashville, TN; St. Louis, MO, as well as work in our own community of Springfield, MO.

Youth Outings

Our Youth like to get together and to have fun with one another.  Whether it is a local event helping those in our community, spending the might at the church for a lock-in, going to see National Monuments, or just going to eat, we always have fun and enjoy growing our relationship with God and with one another.
